Before start with this guide, there is everything you will need:
- A Google account.
- Our Google reCAPTCHA add-on.
Create a Google reCAPTCHA Site Key
Visit https://developers.google.com/recaptcha and sign in with your Google account.
1 – In the "What is reCAPTCHA?" Page, click on "Get started" button.
2 – In the "Developer’s guide" page click again on "Get started" button.
Once you access this page, you can start filling the information to create your reCAPTCHA Site Key.
Complete your Google reCAPTCHA configuration
In this page, you can configure the label, the version of reCAPTCHA you want to use and the domains you want to register.
Note: You will need to generate a different pair of keys for each Google reCAPTCHA version you want to configure.
Once you finish the setup, click on the "Submit" button.
Copy the Site Key and the Secret key.
Come back to your site, navigate to BBForms > Settings > reCAPTCHA, select your reCAPTCHA version and paste your Site Key and your Secret Key in the fields.
Click on Save Settings button to finish!
That’s all! Google reCAPTCHA is now configured and ready to use. To enable it on your forms, simply insert the BBCode [recaptcha] and add the attribute "version" with the Google reCAPTCHA version you want to use into the forms where you want to appear.
